Guilt is the feeling that we did something bad, while shame is the feeling that we ARE bad. Shame serves no purpose, but can take some practice to recognize and let go of. In this lesson, we will begin the practice of recognizing and releasing this toxin.
We all have hard days and learning how to really care for ourselves can help. Self-help and self-care are not the same things. Both are important, but confusing the two can leave us feeling even worse. Today we will learn the role of each and fill your toolbox with both!
